Sydney wandering. Bondi. Library.

The glory of the morning was our visit to an op-shop in Glebe where I snaffled a possum merino jumper for $18. THIS EXACT JUMPER!!

My $18 possum merino jumper. A bargain.

We had left rather late and noodled our way through Glebe: light-rail, train and a bus got us to Bondi Beach. Excuse me if I don’t rhapsodise about the beach itself – my favourite thing about it is the sea baths…

114/365 • if you overlook the sewerage warning sign and the seagull tangled in fishing line, Bondi is very beautiful. The pool costs $6.50 •

…and the walk around the clifftops. We only made it from Bondi, to Tamarama and then Bronte…

A piece of old pavillion? Tamaram clifftop walk.

This is the first aid building at Tamarama. The light was luminous…

While we were still anchored in Blackwattle Bay, the Smalls and I used the library (they wouldn’t let us borrow without paying $15, so we didn’t) and did our massive pile of laundry…

Glebe Library. Not super friendly to non-NSW residents

And my heart was given a little tweak by this reminder of Tasmania. It was my perfect mash-up; Glebe terrace houses named for (one presumes) Tasmanian rivers…

Huon & Esk. Just to remind me. Tasmania on Glebe Pt Road.
